About Us:

Zandstra's Farm has been growing in Highland, Indiana, for more than 100 years and is now one of the largest greenhouses in Northwest Indiana with more than 2 acres (90,000+ sq. ft.) of shopping/growing space. At our family owned and operated greenhouse, we offer a wide variety of flowers for your home or business including a full line of retail and wholesale plants for sun and shade:

In 1903, Dutch immigrant Bartele Zandstra began farming vegetables in Highland.  The business was passed on to three of his sons and in turn to two of his grandsons, current owners Arnold (Butch) and Nick. In 1990, they began operating a bedding plant nursery and greenhouse in addition to the truck farm and farm stand. The current greenhouse on Kennedy Avenue is exactly one half mile east of the original location. Throughout the years, our family has maintained a dedication to quality growing and quality service.

Farmers Market:

We grow a wide variety of vegetables on our farm near Lowell, IN, which we sell at the Highland Farmers Market.
